Bluescope Warranty Requirements
Roof and Wall Cladding Maintenance Inspections
As part of the warranty requirements set by BlueScope, it is requirement that all roof and wall cladding elements undergo a maintenance inspection at a minimum of every four months. Compliance with this schedule is essential to maintain the validity of your BlueScope warranty. Premier Asset Maintenance offers comprehensive routine inspections to meet these requirements. Our inspection and maintenance service includes:
- General Visual Inspection
A thorough visual inspection of all roof areas, rainwater goods, and wall cladding. Please note this excludes areas covered by ridge capping, corner moulds, and similar components that would require removal for access. - Gutter Inspection and Cleaning
Inspection of all gutters, removal of debris, and a complete wash-down to ensure proper water flow and prevent deterioration. - Downpipe Inspection
Examination of all downpipes for potential blockages. If a blockage is found, a separate quote will be provided for removal and cleaning of the affected downpipe. - Penetrations, Backtrays & Dektites
Assessment of the condition of all roof penetrations, backtrays, and dektites. Minor issues may be addressed during the inspection; however, any major repairs will be quoted separately.
- Fixings/Fasteners Review
Inspection of all fixings and fasteners to identify rust, deteriorated washers, improper tensioning, or broken/sheared fixings. Minor repairs can be carried out on the spot, while significant repairs will be quoted accordingly. - Canopy-Covered Areas
Roof and wall sheets located beneath canopies or overhangs are not exposed to regular rainfall and therefore accumulate dust and debris more quickly. As part of our service, these areas will be hand-washed to prevent premature degradation of the cladding. - Completion Report
Upon completion of the inspection, a detailed report will be provided outlining the maintenance tasks completed and any additional repairs or recommendations identified during the visit.
